Last week the doctor gave us the week off. No restrictions. That meant hugs, which were so wonderful, a pedicure/manicure and even a trip to K.C. for a class at Archiver's and a bit of Christmas shopping. I couldn't believe how good everything was. No pain and minimal fatigue. My sister and her hubby came from Springfield and my other sister and my parents came over for a wonderful day of visiting. They were able to enjoy my grandson who was visiting all day with his mom. Great, great week. AND, Terra cooked an amazing lunch for us. Those of you that know Terra know that she doesn't cook. She bakes like crazy. But no cooking. I was so impressed with her meal.
We were supposed to start chemo again on the 15th, but my white counts are too low. We go back on the 17th and the 19th to have it checked, again. Hopefully, we will be able to start again on the 22nd. Terra leaves for Japan for two weeks on the 23rd, so this kind of messed with our schedule. We have friends/family that will be filling for her while she is gone. It was wonderful to be able to stay home today where it is cozy and warm and watch the snow. It looks like a picture post card. So many blessings in the midst of the challenges. Please keep us in your prayers. Hugs!
